Sick Policy:
Please do not send your child to school if they
are not feeling well and could possibly be contagious to others. Children must be fever free for at least
24 hours before returning to school and will be sent home if they come with a fever. We want to ensure,
as much as possible, a healthy environment for everyone. Germs are one thing we don’t want to share!!
Pick-up Policy:
Please make sure that you are here to pick up your child by 12:00. There is no after-school option.
There will be a late fee of $1 for each additional minute late. In the case of an emergency situation,
please notify us as soon as possible so we can work out a plan. If you wish for someone else to pick up
your child, I must have a written agreement from the parent and the person picking up must present identification upon arrival.
Tuition Policy: Initial payment is due by August 15th
which covers the first month of enrollment. Subsequent payments are to be received by the 15th
of each month (Sept-May). Holiday closings have been factored into the tuition. However,
if we have to miss class due to weather and that class cannot be made up, it will be deducted from the next month’s
tuition.
Snack Policy:
A healthy snack will be provided
each day. Your child is also welcome to bring a peanut free snack with them if they choose.
Children will have access to spring water all morning and will be given the choice of either juice or milk with snack.
Holiday Policy:
We will follow the Albemarle County Public School calendar. Holiday closings have already been factored in to tuition.
Snow Policy:
We will also follow Albemarle County Public School’s
as far as snow cancellations are concerned. Please listen to local news or look at NBC 29 for listings.
