Credentials:  Master’s of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Mary Baldwin University, Bachelor of Science Degree from James Madison University with a concentration in Occupational Therapy.

I am not only creating Butterfly Garden Preschool for your child but also for my own.  I always have known that I wanted to help children and after finishing my studies at JMU, I found myself teaching pre-K, instead of practicing as an Occupational Therapist.   I taught at Millstone Preschool for 3 years with my beloved sister and it was then that I was certain of my passion.   We decided to go back to school and get our Master's in Early Childhood Education with a hidden hope of one day opening our own preschool.  I would love to one day expand Butterfly Garden Preschool so we could pursue this dream together.  For now, I feel so excited and fortunate to have this opportunity to start this on a smaller scale.  I look so forward to welcoming your little ones into our family and helping them to safely spread their wings.
